My mom didn’t want another cat.
Not even a little bit.
But the day we walked into Petco “just to look,” I saw Frauline sitting there like a sweet soul who had been waiting her whole life for safe arms.
The worker placed her in my lap and she started purring, and I swear my heart shattered right there in the store.
I started crying like I couldn’t stop, and my mom reached out to pet her… and that was the moment everything changed.
Today Frauline is the gentlest, most loving cat we’ve ever had.
She follows my mom everywhere, sleeps on her bed every night, and cuddles like she knows she’s finally home.
