This is Creamsicle. She is a tiny feral cat that lives in the woods surrounding my cabin.
I first saw her at Chrismas-time last year.
She was starving and trying to eat the corn I had left out for the birds.
My husband told me not to feed her.
But I did.
I feed her every time I go there and somehow convinced my husband to do the same.
I made her an outdoor cat house on my porch, but an opossum took it over. My husband wont let me leave food out anymore because of all of the raccoons and opossums who also enjoy cat food but are rude and poop on my porch.
So I only put food out when I see her. She is soo skinny. She had a litter of kittens, but I think they all died.
I have convinced my husband (against his wishes) to allow me to take her to the vet and get all of her shots and get her fixed.
Am I crazy? I’m not rich but I feel spending the money on a vet bill is the right thing to do.
She is so sweet.
After a while she finally sits on my lap and lets me pet her.
She is so sweet.
I already have 3 cats at home. I don’t think they will like her. But I want to keep her. Again, am I crazy?
