When a 20-year-old blind cat named Tiki was spotted stranded on a piece of ice drifting across a frozen lake in Massachusetts, time was running out.
The ice was cracking, and the freezing water had already reached his neck — but two brave people spotted him and rushed to help. They grabbed a rowboat, broke through the ice with a shovel, and pulled Tiki to safety just in time.
His body temperature was so low it didn’t even register on the thermometer. But thanks to their courage and quick action, Tiki survived. He’s now warm, safe, and back home with his family. 💖
