1930 Ford Model A Victoria
Distinctive styling set the Victoria apart from other Model A variants when Ford introduced this body style in 1930. Its slanted โbustle-backโ rear end made it immediately recognizable, and buyers could choose between cloth-topped versions built by Briggs or steel-topped models produced by Murray.
Production numbers highlight the rarity of this elegant body style. Ford built just 6,306 Victorias for the 1930 model year, with total Victoria production reaching only 40,212 units through 1931. This represented a small fraction of the more than 4.8 million Model As manufactured during the carโs production run.
Like other Model As, the Victoria featured a 201-cubic-inch, 40-horsepower inline-four engine paired with a three-speed sliding-gear transmission. The Model A lineup marked a major step forward from its predecessor, offering improved mechanical performance and a broader range of body styles to attract buyers seeking more than basic transportation.
