This tiny bird spends much of its life searching for one of the smallest fruits in the forest.

The Olive-backed Euphonia is a colorful songbird found across Central and South America. It feeds mainly on mistletoe berries and other small fruits, using its specialized digestive system to process them quickly while helping disperse seeds through the forest.

A miniature jewel of the canopy, quietly keeping the rainforest alive one berry at a time.
