This bird grows one of the longest tails of any wild pheasant on Earth.
The Reeves’s Pheasant inhabits mountain forests of central and eastern China. Males display spectacular golden, white, and black plumage with tail feathers that can exceed 2 meters (6.5 feet) in length. It spends most of its time foraging on the forest floor for seeds, acorns, berries, and insects.
