Behind an old building, two tiny kittens were found huddled close together. One was black and white, while the other was a mix of orange, brown, and white. They were frightened, hungry, and far too small to survive on their own.
Yet, despite their fear, they never left each other’s side.
The black-and-white kitten gently wrapped its small body around its sister, as if to say, “Don’t worry. I’m here.”
They were carefully scooped up into warm hands and taken to a safe place. They were given food, clean water, a soft blanket, and a warm spot to sleep.
That first night, something truly sweet happened.
Instead of hiding separately, both kittens climbed onto the same blanket and fell asleep together—just as they had done before they were rescued.
As the days went by…
Their eyes grew brighter, and their tiny bodies grew stronger. They began to play, chasing each other’s tails and turning every quiet room into a playground.
But whenever one grew tired or scared, the other would come running to be by its side.
They had lost the world they once knew…
But they never lost each other.
