I rescued a kitten from parking lot yesterday, and thankfully, he is doing good. He has gone to the vet and is healthy just a mild eye infection which I’m are treating.
However, I cannot stop thinking about the rest of his family still out there—including his young mama, who needs to be safely trapped and spayed, and any other kittens who may be nearby. I’ve seen her a few times and seems very young maybe 7-8 months? She is curious but won’t let me touch. Not aggressive nor a hisser. Just shy.
I’m working on a plan to find and rescue them, but I need help from someone who has experience doing this. I have never trapped a cat even less a whole family which is what I’d love to do. None of the cats in this area are fixed. I also need fosters. The kittens are around 5-6 weeks. The one I rescued from the parking lot is eating, drinking and purring like little machine. You’d never know he was on the streets a couple of days ago. I’m willing to pay to have this family rescue but I need help. This is in West Delray. 🐾
