1956 Nash Ambassador Super Sedan

The Nash Ambassador was the ultimate road-trip machine, featuring Airliner Reclining Seats that folded completely flat to create a full-sized twin bed. Nash even sold custom mattresses and window screens through dealerships to complete the setup. While marketed for “roadside resting,” this feature became a legendary—and often controversial—favorite at drive-in theaters across America.
