1961 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 Holiday 2-Door Hardtop

The Iconic “Bubble Top” Silhouette.

The 1961 “Holiday” (Oldsmobile’s term for a pillarless hardtop) is famous among collectors as one of the legendary “Bubble Tops.” It featured incredibly thin “A” pillars and a massive, wrap-around rear window that created an airy, glass-heavy greenhouse look. This specific roofline was a one-year-only design for the full-size Oldsmobiles; by 1962, GM moved toward a more formal, “convertible-look” creased roofline.
