1939 Cadillac Series 75 Convertible Coupe (by Fleetwood)

As Cadillac’s flagship V8 model, the Series 75 shared its imposing 141-inch wheelbase platform with the prestigious V16-powered Series 90 models. This impressive automobile measured 228 inches in length and was powered by a 346 cubic-inch L-head V8 engine producing 140 horsepower. Thanks to higher octane fuel availability, the 1939 model used a 6.70:1 compression ratio, which helped boost power output compared to earlier versions.

The large, limousine-length chassis provided exceptional passenger room for four adults and a spacious trunk ideal for touring. Of the 27 convertible coupes built, only five are known to survive today.
