A woman was driving her bus through the cold streets when a tiny white shape in the leaves caught her eye. It was a young cat, soaked from the rain, shaking so hard he could barely lift his head, and when she opened the door, he didn’t meow. He screamed in fear and pain.
His fur clung to his bones, and his body kept falling to one side like he was too weak to stay upright. The cold pavement was his only bed, the rain his only blanket, and hunger had drained every bit of strength from his fragile body.
