A female cat 🐱 in Russia named Dymka has gotten a new lease on life after veterinarians replaced her front and hind paws 🦾 with 3D-printed titanium prosthetics.
Veterinarian Sergei Gorshkov worked with researchers from Tomsk Polytechnic University to create the metal paws, which were fused directly to Dymka’s leg bones. She is only the second cat in the world 🌍 to receive prosthetics on all four limbs.

Dymka, 4, was rescued in December 2018 ❄️ in Siberia after suffering severe frostbite. She lost not only her paws but also her ears and tail.
The surgery, carried out by the BEST Veterinary Clinic in Novosibirsk, was done in two stages: front legs in July 2019 and hind legs in December 2019. Today, Dymka can walk, run, play, and climb stairs.
