The Sunbeam 30 HP, introduced in 1926, represented Britain’s ambitious entry into luxury eight-cylinder motoring. One of only 65 eight-cylinder Sunbeams ever produced, this rare thoroughbred featured a 294-cubic-inch inline eight-cylinder engine producing 90 horsepower.

Built on an 11-foot wheelbase with traditional luxury proportions, it offered touring, saloon, and limousine body styles. The 30 HP competed directly against Bentley’s models and the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost.

In 1929, Sunbeam enlarged the engine to create the 35 HP variant. Today, only two 30 HP examples and two 35 HP models survive, making any Sunbeam eight-cylinder extraordinarily rare among vintage British luxury automobiles.
