When Niall Harbison began feeding stray dogs on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand, he never imagined how much it would change his life.

Snickers had once lived with a local family who enjoyed her company when she was a small puppy.
As time went on and she grew bigger, their attention faded, and she was left to wander outside on her own. Life quickly became dangerous and lonely.

One of her new friends, Teddy, took it upon himself to teach Snickers how to be carefree. She had never played fetch before — her life on the streets left no time for games.
But with Teddy’s help, she learned quickly, chasing the ball with joy as if she had been waiting for this moment all along.
Watching her discover something so simple yet so special was a reminder of how much she had missed during her years of survival.
To celebrate her new life, Harbison surprised Snickers with a box filled with brand-new toys, along with her very first collar and bandana.
After giving him more than a hundred little treasures, it was finally her turn to receive something meant just for her.
She played until she was tired, then curled up in her bed, safe at last and ready for dreams of a brighter future.
Today, Snickers is still waiting for her forever family.
