She was discovered outside a California Petco, tucked into a tissue box, and left with no explanation.

By the time staff reached the door, he had vanished, leaving the newborn in their care.
The Petco employees were quick to realize the problem.
While they loved animals, they weren’t trained or equipped to care for a kitten so young.
At only a few days old, Hank still needed round-the-clock bottle feeding, warmth, and medical attention.
