A Cry from the Darkness
For three long days, a tiny orange kitten had been trapped inside a dark, filthy sewage drain. Passersby first heard his desperate meowing and immediately contacted an animal rescue group. But by the time help arrived, three agonizing days had passed. The kitten had been crying out, alone in the darkness, for what must have felt like an eternity.

When the rescue team finally reached the location, they could hear the kitten meowing non-stop. It was as if he believed the humans standing above him were his very last chance at survival. But there was a cruel twist: the sewage lid had been sealed shut with cement. They couldn’t open it. The team was left wondering how the kitten had even gotten inside.
The Descent into the Drain
Determined to find a way in, the rescuers checked another opening nearby. A man carefully lifted the lid, and this time, it opened. Without hesitation, a volunteer climbed down a ladder into the dirty sewage. At the bottom, he noticed a barely eaten can of cat food. Someone had already tried to help, but the kitten was still trapped.

A Clever Escape Plan
The smart kitten immediately crawled over to a hole in the wall, but it was too small for the rescuer to grab him without risking the kitten running deeper into the tunnel. The team quickly came up with a plan: they would use a rope to catch the kitten first. It was a delicate operation, but they had to act fast.

Finally Free
When the kitten was finally brought up to the surface, he was terrified. But he was safe. After three days in the dark, the little orange kitten was finally out of the drain, ready for a new beginning.
