1931 Stutz DV-32 Convertible Victoria

Among the finest examples of American luxury automobiles from the early Depression era, the 1931 Stutz DV-32 Convertible Victoria features custom coachwork by New York’s distinguished Rollston Company. This rare vehicle combines engineering excellence with artistic design. The powerful 322 cubic inch inline eight-cylinder engine produces 156 horsepower through its double overhead camshaft configuration with hemispherical combustion chambers (advanced technology for its time).

The convertible Victoria style, with its formal top lacking rear quarter windows, creates a sheltered space for passengers. When lowered, the top rests in a recessed area behind the doors, creating a clean profile. Only six of these bodies were constructed, with this example believed to be the first built on Stutz’s flagship DV-32 chassis.
