Pininfarina combined styling elements from the 275 GTS and 500 Superfast to create an elegant grand touring coupe positioned between Ferrari’s sporting 275 GTB and larger 330 GT 2+2.

Introduced at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show, the design featured slim pillars that provided excellent visibility and an airy cabin, with a “330” badge on the trunk lid (unusual for Ferrari at the time). The flowing bodywork incorporated triple-louvered engine bay vents and slim quarter bumpers at each corner.

Power came from a 242 CI (3967 cc) single-overhead-cam V12 with triple Weber carburetors producing 300 hp at 6,600 rpm.

A five-speed rear-mounted transaxle balanced weight distribution, while independent wishbone suspension with Koni dampers at all four corners and four-wheel disc brakes provided handling and stopping power.

Built on a 94.5-inch wheelbase tubular steel chassis, the model combined comfortable accommodations with sporting dynamics. Ferrari produced approximately 600 coupes through 1968 before introducing the 365 GTC successor.
