1959 Lancia Flaminia Sport Zagato
The Lancia Flaminia, named after the “Via Flaminia” Roman road that stretches between Rome and the Adriatic coast, debuted at the 1957 Turin Auto Show. The Zagato Sport version, designed by Ercole Spada, featured a shortened wheelbase and flowing lines characteristic of 1950s Italian style. Its distinctive “Double Bubble” roofline, pop-out door handles, and functional hood scoop exemplified sports car design of the era.
Between 1959 and 1967, only 526 Sport and Super Sport versions were produced, making it a rare and desirable model.
