This bird spends most of its life on the ground, despite having wings built for flight.

The Long-tailed Ground Roller is found only in the dry forests of southwestern Madagascar. It searches the forest floor for insects, spiders, and small reptiles, using its long legs and sharp eyesight to detect hidden prey among fallen leaves and sandy soil.

A rare treasure of Madagascar, where elegance and mystery move quietly beneath the trees.
